sean m. foster, Founder / ceo

Our founder is a construction professional that brings over 20 years of experience in construction management with expertise in the areas of pre-construction services, cost management and analysis. During college, Sean ran a successful start-up subcontracting company that turned his path toward the discipline of cost estimating and analysis for construction.

While going on to work for leading design-build/development firms Sean developed an acute understanding for the specific challenge of growing profit while meeting and maintaining client goals. It was at this point he created a clear vision for success in construction cost mgmt. and began to understand the use and benefits of meta-data in construction estimating.

His corporate career then took him to URS Corp., An AECOM Company, (a global Construction Mgmt./Design/Engineering firm). It was there Sean developed a cost model and data-mining process for the Capital Improvement Program of one of the country's largest housing authority with a project cost of $1.5 billion and 17,000 dwelling units. This cost model secured approval by both local and federal offices of HUD (Housing and Urban Development) as an alternative to their current federal funding policy for redevelopment. Recognition was given to him and the team, with mention of its use as a model and template for other public housing authorities throughout the nation.
